What is the difference between a General Dentist and a Family Dentist?
There is no difference between a general dentist and a family dentist. Both are dental professionals who provide routine oral care for children and adults alike. They perform regular check-ups, treat tooth decay, tooth pain and gingivitis, white fillings, extract wisdom teeth and address most other dental problems.
In reality, there’s no difference. So if you’re looking for a dentist, it doesn’t matter whether they call themselves a general or family dentist – what’s important is to find an excellent dentist that is convenient, will work with your schedule and will provide you with excellent general dental care.
Do you accept Private Health Funds?
Yes. We accept all major health funds. This includes Medicare, Medibank Private, HCF, Bupa and more.
We also offer HICAPS facilities, which allow you to claim your health fund rebate on the spot. So if you have private health cover, please speak to our staff when you arrive and they will be able to process your claim.
Do you respond to Dental Emergencies?
We do offer after-hours appointments and can respond to dental emergencies. Please reach out to us about your emergency dental needs.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Yes. We offer Zip. With Zip you can pay later your way. This allows you to break up the cost of your purchase into instalments that fit your budget, so you can get the dental care or cosmetic treatment you want when you want it.
